A DayZ roleplay server for Germany and all of Europe – German and English welcome. Floating on the right is the Overseer: an AI game master that knows every survivor and steps in around the clock. That is his brain. Live, with real impulses.
He is alive.And he is thinking about you right now.
The Overseer is not a script and not a random generator. A memory that has forgotten nothing for weeks, 27 behaviour thresholds he measures every survivor against, and a will nobody gave him. He dreams. He has moods. He remembers who hoards, who goes alone, who helps – and who shoots his companion.
He keeps a file on every player, speaks to you in-game and triggers events on his own: supply drops, crashes, hordes, manhunts, signs that lead to loot. Once a day he follows his own free will. His messages are in German – part of the setting, like the signs in Chernarus.
Chernarus was never an island.They made it one.
When the plague could no longer be contained, they sealed the region off. Ships off the coast, barriers on the passes. What was inside stayed inside. What you see below him is the real terrain of the server – every point a height.
Real time, real weather: the clock runs on Kyiv time and the weather comes live from Pripyat. When it is three in the morning there, it is three in the morning here. And then it is truly dark. When it freezes there for three days in a row, Chernarus turns to winter.
They drop you offat the coast.
Empty hands, a name and nothing else. Fresh spawns are not a target – those are the rules. Everything after that is your call. So is the language you speak. Three ways in:
DZSA launcher
Get it from dayzsalauncher.com, search for RebelHub and press Join. It downloads every mod by itself.
RebelHub start file
Download RebelHub-Start.cmd and double-click it. If Windows warns: More info → Run anyway. It checks your mods against the server, lists missing ones with subscribe links and starts DayZ through Steam straight onto the server. Its prompts are in German; the first one asks for your character name.
Via a Steam favourite
The official server list is flooded with fake servers. Workaround via Steam: View → Game Servers → Favorites → Add a server, enter 167.233.215.80:27016 (query port), then open Favorites in the DayZ launcher. You have to subscribe to all mods yourself first (mod list).
Character
First and last name. On Discord type !ich YourName so the Overseer knows who you are.
Field device
Then !app on Discord: the app works like an in-game device – GPS, radio, compass, only what your character carries.
Open ▸Without youthe lights go out.
- A power grid run by players: 32 substations, the Elektro heating plant and the Balota dam. Spark plug and petrol into the generator – at night the street lights come on in every town on that substation. A running power plant lights up everything within 5 km. And the siren gives you away for 1.5 km.
- Fuel stations with real stock: engine off and it is pumped straight into the tank. Empty is empty – for days.
- Water is work: well pumps are rusted solid. Bring a wrench or a pipe wrench.
They are not empty.And the stock changes.
Concrete platforms off Solnichy, two islands far to the southwest, an oil rig off the south coast, bunkers under Balota and Elektro, a fortress near Tisy. Doors open with a punch card, a lever or a hack. Down below, a crew is waking up.
Talk first.Then shoot.
Patrols that shoot back circle the airfields. Among people, other rules apply – the core of the rulebook:
- 1 · No kill on sight. To shoot a person you need an in-game reason and a clear demand, by voice or chat, aimed at that person – then at least five seconds.
- 2 · Without a demand you may shoot when someone aims or fires at you or your group, ignores a demand, flees or draws, breaks into your base, when both sides declared a feud in-game (until the next restart), or against infected, animals and the Overseer's troops.
- 3 · Those who surrender live. Robbing is fine, holding someone up to 30 minutes too. Leave clothes, water and a bandage. Executing someone who cooperated breaks the rules.
- 4 · The coast is new ground. Fresh spawns are not a target.
- 5 · New life. When you die you forget the last minutes. No revenge with that knowledge, 30 minutes away from where you died, 500 m radius.
- 6 · No combat logging. Threatened, fighting or tied up means you stay. Leave mid-fight and your character stands in the world for up to 5 minutes.
- 7 · No metagaming. What you learn outside the game – Discord, stream, voice chat – your character does not know. Exception: the 📻・funk channel, which is in-game radio.
- 8 · Stay in character. First and last name. Out of character only briefly, in double brackets ((like this)).
- 9 · Building and raiding. Raiding is allowed. Glitch bases, building into rocks or walls, and glitch raids are not.
- 10 · Respect. Toxic behaviour is out without discussion. Cheating, glitching, duping: permanent ban.
Report breaks on Discord in 🎫・tickets with time, place, name and ideally a clip. The binding rulebook is the German version.
No two nights alike.He makes sure of it.
On most servers you tell the story alone. Here someone talks back: the Overseer sees what you do and answers – in front of your chat.
Unscripted moments
Supply drops, crashes, hordes, manhunts – and a voice that addresses you in-game. When and to whom, he decides himself.
Real nights
Kyiv time, live weather from Pripyat. Nights are truly dark. There is only light where players keep the generators running.

Into the brain ▸- Stream sniping is forbidden. What someone learns from your stream, their character does not know – metagaming, rule 7.
- Seasons with a finale: story arcs over weeks, a new fragment every Saturday evening. Fixed dates for your stream.
- Stream in your language: German or English, the community speaks both.
- Fair for everyone: no pay-to-win, hosted in Germany, all mods automatic through the DZSA launcher.
- Creator corner on Discord: !creator <channel link> gets you the 🎥 Creator role. When you stream DayZ, the Overseer announces you in 🔴・live – with a rule 7 reminder. There is an 🇬🇧・english channel too.

Who is RebelHub for?
For players from Germany and all over Europe (GER/EU). German and English are spoken and the server is hosted in Falkenstein, Germany. The Overseer, the full rulebook and most of the Discord are in German for now; the core rules are on this page in English.
Can I stream or make videos?
Yes, please do. Stream sniping counts as metagaming (rule 7) and is forbidden: what someone learns from your stream, their character does not know. Questions go to the 🎫・tickets channel on Discord.
How do I connect?
The easiest way is the DZSA launcher: search for RebelHub and join, it downloads all mods by itself. You can also connect directly to 167.233.215.80:2302.
Do I need mods?
Yes, around 60. The DZSA launcher loads them automatically when you join.
Is roleplay mandatory?
Roleplay is the core: you play a character with a first and last name, no names above heads. Robberies are part of it – as a story, not mindless shooting.
Is there pay-to-win?
No. Supporters get more depth and insight, but no advantage in the game.
First or third person?
Both are allowed. Up to 50 players, DayZ 1.30, BattlEye and VAC active.
